Domain Registration Agreement

This Domain Registration Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legally binding contract between TrendesignersHost (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the registrant (“you”, “your”) for the registration, transfer, and renewal of domain names. By registering or managing a domain with us, you agree to comply with this Agreement, our Terms of Service, and applicable registry/ICANN rules.

1. Domain Registration

  • We act as a reseller of accredited registrars.

  • Domain names are registered on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Successful registration depends on availability and acceptance by the relevant domain registry.

  • You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of registration details.

2. Registrant Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete contact details (name, address, phone, email).

  • Keep contact information up to date during the domain’s lifecycle.

  • Respond promptly to verification or compliance requests.

  • Use domains lawfully (no phishing, spam, malware, copyright infringement, or illegal activity).

Failure to maintain accurate contact details may result in suspension or cancellation of your domain.

3. Domain Renewals

  • Domains are registered for fixed terms (1 year or more).

  • It is your responsibility to renew before expiration.

  • We send renewal reminders via email, but we are not liable if you fail to renew.

  • Expired domains may enter a grace period or redemption period with additional fees.

4. Domain Transfers

  • You may transfer domains to/from TrendesignersHost in compliance with ICANN and registry rules.

  • Transfers require domain unlock, valid EPP/Auth code, and up-to-date WHOIS information.

  • A 60-day lock period applies after new registration or ownership change.

5. Domain Add-ons

Depending on the TLD and availability, you may purchase optional services such as:

  • Domain Privacy (WHOIS Protection): hides your personal information from public WHOIS databases.

  • Premium DNS: ensures faster, secure DNS resolution.

  • Domain Forwarding & Mail Forwarding services.

6. Payments & Fees

  • All domain fees (registration, renewal, transfer) must be paid in full before processing.

  • Payments can be made via MTN Mobile Money, Orange Money, bank transfer, or card.

  • Domain fees are non-refundable, except in cases where registration fails at the registry level.

7. Suspension, Cancellation & Termination

We may suspend, cancel, or transfer a domain if:

  • You provide false or incomplete registration details.

  • You fail to comply with ICANN or registry rules.

  • The domain is used for illegal activity (spam, fraud, phishing, malware).

  • Ordered by a court, registry, or applicable authority.

8. ICANN Rights & Policies

For generic top-level domains (gTLDs), you agree to comply with:

  • ICANN’s Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP).

  • ICANN’s Registrant Rights and Responsibilities.

  • Applicable registry rules for country-code TLDs (ccTLDs).

9. Limitation of Liability

  • We do not guarantee that a requested domain will be successfully registered.

  • We are not liable for domain unavailability, loss of domain due to non-renewal, or third-party disputes.

  • Our maximum liability shall not exceed the fees paid for the domain in the last 12 months.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Cameroon, with recognition of international ICANN policies. Disputes shall be resolved under Cameroonian jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Agreement

We may modify this Agreement at any time. Updates will be published on our website. Continued use of our domain services indicates acceptance of changes.
